Bust & Halloweeny Costume

 Yep, I was an era.  I think late '50s.  You can't tell in these photos but the wig I'm wearing is called "The New Beehive" and it makes me look like the mother alien. 

 I just finished this clay bust last week and showed it at this month's First Friday on Santa Fe.  It was so fun to see people's reaction to it :)

 A pic taken by my studio neighbor's phone.  I'm digging out excess clay to thin the clay, decreasing the possibility of air bubbles and the bust blowing up in the kiln.
